Who we are, how we work, and what drives us?

A coaching practice built from research, art, and creativity.

Differentiation

What sets us apart?

The Artistic Coaching Toolbox® is a concept that integrates and implements various creative and artistic tools, as well as knowledge from neurosciences, psychology, and philosophy, into personal and collective development accompaniment processes, where the Self experiences and explores new possibilities through its creative potential.

Our own methodology

Our working methodology was built upon the thesis for the Master’s Degree in Personal Coaching and Leadership from the University of Barcelona, where we investigated how creative and artistic tools enhance coaching processes. This scientific foundation is continuously updated with every process and new piece of research.

ICF Ethics

We adhere to the code of ethics of the International Coaching Federation, the international standard of the profession. Confidentiality and ethics are non-negotiable.

Dual and complementary leadership

David Cardozo and Paula Giraldo co-direct the practice from complementary fields: design, creativity, and artistic craft on one hand; research, human understanding, and strategic perspective on the other. Both are present in the design and facilitation of each process.

Latin America as a territory

We speak your language and understand your context, working with individuals and organizations in Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, Spain, and other countries across the Spanish-speaking region.

Pillars of Action

Our methodology

We integrate three fundamental principles into our support processes.

01

Science

We develop our processes and methodologies by integrating various sources of knowledge such as neurosciences, philosophy, and psychology. Research and the constant pursuit of knowledge are driving forces present in the development of our support process and in our growth as a company.

02

Art and Creativity

We have proven that art is a vehicle for self-knowledge and transformation that allows us to become the protagonists of our own lives. The structured use of art in a coaching process allows us to materialize concerns that may be difficult to express through conversation or through introspection alone; it is at that moment that the capacity to observe from other perspectives is enhanced.

03

Coaching

Coaching is singular. It is supported by the same foundations across any serious school: deep listening, powerful questions, presence, and ethics. We integrate the principles of systemic, ontological, and co-active coaching as the technical foundations of our practice—roots that nourish it, not distinct “types” to choose from. Rafael Echeverría reminds us that we are beings in conversation; it is from there that we work.

Purpose

What drives us?

We are driven by deep convictions and a commitment to every person and team that places their trust in our guidance.

Creativity

We are driven by the conviction that every person possesses their own creative potential to which they can gain access, and that our tools can accompany that process of personal discovery.

Knowledge

We are also driven by the constant pursuit of knowledge. We read, research, and train—not to accumulate credentials, but to offer support with scientific rigor. Others deserve careful and meticulous accompaniment.

The Transformation

And above all, it moves us to see others find themselves. To see a leader recognize their voice. To see a team move from friction to harmony. To see a person push through a breakthrough and emerge with determination.

Co-founders

Who is behind it?

David Cardozo and Paula Giraldo co-direct the company from complementary backgrounds and with a shared purpose.

David Cardozo

Creative Director and Co-founder

Industrial Designer from Universidad de los Andes. For over 16 years, he worked in the Colombian furniture design and manufacturing industry, leading processes ranging from product design to spatial design, and from team leadership to strategic and negotiation processes.

He holds a specialization and a Master’s degree in International Business, and completed a Master’s degree in Coaching and Personal Leadership at the University of Barcelona in 2020. It was there that he identified, through research, how creative and artistic tools can enhance learning processes and personal transformation. That research forms the methodological foundation of TACTB®.

Art, creativity, and knowledge are his permanent sources of inspiration for designing processes in the service of Being.

Paula Giraldo

Strategic Director and Co-Founder

Industrial Engineer from the Universidad de los Andes. For over 16 years, she led consumer needs understanding processes through market research, supporting companies in the consumer goods sector in understanding insights, developing innovation processes, and implementing communication strategies.

She completed a Master’s Degree in Coaching and Personal Leadership at the University of Barcelona. Research and a strategic perspective have given her a unique vision: identifying development and transformation opportunities for individuals, teams, leaders, and organizations from a deeply human perspective.

She designs and guides processes alongside David, bringing methodological order and analytical and systemic understanding to the procedures.

Resolving Doubts

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our practice, certifications, and the scientific backing behind our methodology.

Yes. David Cardozo and Paula Giraldo hold a Master’s Degree in Personal Coaching and Leadership from the University of Barcelona, and our company adheres to the ethical and deontological code of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the gold standard of the profession. In addition to these formal credentials, we maintain a commitment to continuous professional development.

Our way of working originated from a research thesis — “Creative and Artistic Tools as Enhancers of the Coaching Process” (Cardozo, University of Barcelona, 2020) — which documented how the structured use of artistic practices amplifies coaching outcomes. This foundation is continuously updated with contributions from neurosciences, psychology, philosophy, and theories from various authors working in the fields of personal transformation and human creativity.

They are three distinct and complementary practices. Therapy works from symptoms and clinical history — such as anxiety, depression, or trauma — and is practiced by a mental health professional. Mentoring is a relationship in which someone with more experience in a specific field shares their guidance and expertise.

Coaching neither diagnoses nor offers advice from personal experience; rather, it facilitates individuals in finding their own answers through powerful questioning, active listening, and presence. A skilled coach recognizes when a client’s needs require a different approach — such as therapy or mentoring — and communicates this clearly.
